Rome Art Galleries
Rome art galleries are so numerous, and fabulous, it is not possible to think of them all simultaneously. Rather, a subset of the possibilities is the best one can hope to comprehend at one time. The National Gallery of Modern Art holds only works from the past two centuries. If ancient history isn't your thing, this might be the place to start. The collections in many galleries began as the passions of individual patrons. Such was the case with the Borghese and Colonna galleries. Check out the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome when you tire of the more historically oriented art galleries of Rome.Rome Art Galleries
